I am a Strategic Advisor to the Cambridge-based RefugePoint, dedicated to finding lasting solutions for the world's most at-risk refugee populations. 

I first began supporting RefugePoint at its very inception, when it was then called Mapendo International. In 2010, I successfully nominated its Founder and Director, my former student Sasha Chanoff, for the Charles Bronfman Prize for his tremendous achievement in refugee advocacy. 

Sasha is an exceptional friend. We first started collaboration in the Game of Nations, and I recommended him to work with International Organization of Migration.

In my current advisory role, I have introduced Sasha to Jeffrey Aresty of the Internet Bar Organization (IBO), to work on issues of sovereign identity. IBO is another of or advisee organizations.
